BANA was formed in 1992 by a patient-led group. We exist for mutual support, information exchange, listening and raising awareness. Our aim is to improve understanding and the quality of life of sufferers.

AMNET (Acoustic Neuroma & Meningioma Network) is a regional charity for acoustic neuroma and meningioma sufferers in the Cambridge area, hosting support meetings out of Addenbrooke's Hospital. For the last two decades AMNET has been associated with BANA as an unofficial "sister charity", hosting BANA members at their events.
Facial Palsy UK is a national resource for all facial palsy/facial eakness sufferers and a BANA charity friend.
